JOURNEYMAN LEADERSHIP PROGRAM: Building leaders for a stronger future
The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) holds an exciting leadership program for current journey-level members interested in leadership positions with the Union. The Journeyman Leadership Program is a three-day program geared towards developing the strong qualities of members on the job – leadership, communication, mentoring and collective action. You will learn where the UBC came from and where its headed, and, importantly, how you are a part of it. Journey level members in good standing are eligible to attend.
Members go to the International Training Center at UBC Headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada. Your room and board will be paid for, and the Council will reimburse you for up to 16 hours of lost wages and benefits. We have 180 spaces available for each session. You’ll meet and learn from UBC leaders and members from around the country.
At this time we do not have a training session scheduled. To find out when the next available JLP training will be held, please check back after December 15, 2018.
